About me
Makayla Jade Harris is a photographer, entrepreneur, and founder of ASET and the Printographers Society. Her journey began with a desire to take meaningful photographs of her children, which quickly grew into a successful wedding photography business built on a foundation of relationship-driven service and a focus on printed artwork. Together with her husband, Makayla scaled their business into a nationally recognized brand, earning accolades such as the Capital Region of NY 40 Under 40 award and Women on the Rise recognition.
In 2020, Makayla expanded her impact by founding ASET, a pioneering sales agency that partners with photographers to design and sell albums and wall art to their clients. Through ASET’s innovative approach to 1:1 virtual sales, the agency has helped photographers generate $20,000 to $200,000 or more in additional revenue annually. Her expertise has been featured in Rangefinder, Professional Photographer Magazine, and Behind the Shutter. As a sought-after speaker, Makayla has presented at top industry conferences, including IUSA, WPPI, and Shutterfest, and has served on the board of directors for Professional Photographers of America (PPA) since 2019.
Makayla is passionate about empowering photographers to focus on their craft while her team handles the business side, offering a proven framework for success. Known for her down-to-earth style and consultative selling expertise, she has made a lasting impact on the photography industry. Despite her professional achievements, her greatest pride lies in her family. She cherishes the time they spend traveling the world, creating unforgettable memories, and embracing life’s adventures together. Her personal and professional journeys are rooted in a passion for connection, storytelling, and helping others succeed.
